Windows Media Update Problem?
Windows Media Gallery.?
My son had Minecraft icon on desktop. One day he right clicked and accidentally clicked on 'use as admin'. Since then we have box continually popping up on screen, stating: 'please wait while Windows configures Media Gallery'. This has become really annoying. Any suggestions as to how we can solve the problem?

you can try uninstalling and re-installing it. make sure your son saves his world files onto the computer itself (on the desktop or in documents) before uninstalling as it might cause him to lose data. You should then be able to uninstall it and re-install it and load in the saved data so it's the same as when he left off. (i'd have him sit down with you to do this).
However, this probably shouldn't affect Windows Media Gallery. WMG is mostly for media that you've saved onto your computer and often pops up when you insert a new device with media on it (pictures, audio, etc).
If reinstalling doesn't fix the wmg problem, then i'd suggest contacting minecraft support and if they don't think it's a problem on their end then you should contact a local computer store to ask.
