Not cis or ftm but need advice. help?
I'm bi guy but lean more towards gay. So I like trans men but every time I try and talk to a trans guy and try and let them know I am bi/gay and love trans guys they always seem to get pissed off about it. Like I'll say "I'm not trans or cis but I like trans guys" they tend to hate that. I used to date a trans guy and would love to again but every time I want to get to know a trans guy I never know what to say without them getting mad at me for saying something wrong. Any advice on what to say or not to say to a trans guy?

Most people like to be liked for themselves. If you wanted to get in some woman's pants, and you said, "You're a woman, wow, that's so hot, I love women" it would not go very well.
If you want to succeed with a trans guy, you have to tell him what you like about HIM. You could tell him you like his fashion, his beard, his shyness, his smarts, his courage, his laugh. You can mention you are attracted to trans men, keep in mind though that most trans men aren't thrilled to be trans and also that people want to be loved as individuals.
Good luck!

You're not trans and you're not cisgender? That doesn't make sense. Cisgender literally just means not transgender. If you were male assigned at birth (if when you were born the doctor said "It's a boy!" and you were raised as a boy), you are cisgender.
So the trans guys you talk to are probably picking up on the fact that you seem to not know what you're talking about. They could also feel fetishized. Google that term if you don't know what it means.

Sayng you like trans guys might imply that you only like the person because they're trans and you think it's "fashionable" to have trans friends or date trans people. Maybe just don't mention it, and continue to date trans men (if possible).

What are you then? Like honestly, cis gender, meaning you're the gender you're born with???
