Is it bad to dream big?

I currently enjoy writing books, I've always had dreams to publish a book. And also I've dreamed what it'd be like to write for film. But when I start daydreaming about it, I wonder if I'm aiming to high. At the moment I'm 24 year old with no girlfriend or kids so I don't have anything really holding me back. I just don't want to dream big and feel I'm crazy.

There's nothing wrong with having hope and motivation and inspiration. I think as we get older, we lose a lot of that special stuff that makes us dream big, but I think it's extremely important to have goals. You have to ask yourself what you value in life. Some big dreams can be unrealistic, but some big dreams can also come true and bring great rewards. You gotta dig deep and figure out if you're the kind of person to take risks to achieve something that may happen, or if you are someone who craves stability. And at different points in your life, these decisions and ideas may change. Good luck and I hope to see your name at the Oscars or on Oprah's Reading List.

Don`t think it's crazy. ^^ The burning ambition is inspiring, like few other things could, but naturally, the word ambition implies a raw aspect to it, such as that it could be humbled. Making a spiritual connection with the book(s) is inevitable, or else books wouldn`t make it so far, unless it is for recording purposes, though few are inspired by routine. I`m 20, just turned that way maybe five days ago. I`m right there with you, but four short years won`t do much difference.

I am reminded these days, of bits of the bible that could help me learn to spiritually stick through anything, and learn to love it. The word "cleave", that is used in trying to mean "pursue", in the context of love rings faintly, but that is strength recognized in terribly undeveloped senses, I take it. To "cleave" unto God and unto the wife, in every day, every situation, sounds very determined, like a discipline, an art that must be learned, for me. If you can feel your heart go pour out throughout yourself, like an extension, figuratively speaking, then it may get your interest into the making of the book. :3

It is bad to dream big and not act. I know you've heard this a thousand times, but truly interpret these words; If you want your dreams to come true, work should not start "tomorrow". You need to give your life towards making your dream come true, every second you can, one step at a time. Risk everything for what you want to live for, because you should only live for what you want to live for.
