How do I upgrade my IOS device to an IOS that is not the newest one?

iPhone 4s

Currently on IOS 7.0.0

I need the IOS 8.1.2

I have downloaded the firmware for this (i beleive)

I cannot find the file and am not sure what to do.

    I wouldn't put IOS8 on a iPHone 4s due to how sluggish it will run. But that's just me.

    If you still insist, then you need to get your update from Apple, not some random site out there.
