Yes they do.
Not to the scale of the US ones, and pretty much restricted to metropolitan areas. Essentially they don't happen outside of Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane.
Australia has contributed a few Miss Universes to the world, those girls are selected through beauty pageants.
