The World Series Cricket in the late 1970's.?
Dennis Lillee, during his tenure playing World Series Cricket he took 67 wickets. My point is why aren't they put towards his total of 355 test wickets garnered in International Test Cricket. Don't give me this bs of the quality of opposition, please that definitely doesn't go done well with me. It bring his total to 422 and its a shame he retired young 34 due to a new phenomena stress fractures who knows what he could have achieved.

It was a rebel league the players were risking a life ban by refusing to be available to play for their countries, that kind of stuff is not popular with cricket boards and ICC
Lillee, Chappell, Richards, Imran and many others got many 'unofficial' runs and wickets that are totally ignored in stats figures while 3rd rate 'official' series were played in their absence.
There were other rebel and officially sanctioned tours to South Africa and series against World X1 teams in the 1970s/80s that were better in quality than some Test matches, some are included in stats and some are not.

I have to agree. There is a big difference between WSC and the rebels who toured SA. WSC became legit and all were welcomed back into the fold. I too feel that batsmen and bowlers from WSC should have these numbers included in their test figures.

Packer series was deemed as a "rebel" series, and thus all records by all players were not counted. Not just Lillee.
