Has anyone cheated you your money?

Recently two times i am cheated. Have you ever come across such a situation and could not get money back? what did you do? how did you console yourself?

    I was at school and half asleep and I have a lunch lady a 20 for my lunch but instead she gave me change for a ten. So I was like $6 short but I didn't even notice until I got home. I coulndt get the rest of the money back because she would have thought that I was lying to get more money

    as i am not too careful about my money so this has happened with me more than two times, i forgot it as if i had some earlier life's debt of someone and maybe i am paying it in this life. better to console yourself with such things instead of feeling regretful all the time.
