Girl has inconsistent texting habits, not sure if she's really interested?

Question

I used to talk to this girl but things ended about a year ago when she met another guy. However, sometimes I get "drunk" texts from her saying she misses me and that she's lonely. So recently I decided that I just miss being around her and talking to her so I shot her a "hey you!"
text. This sparked a great convo which eventually led to her saying that she "wants to catch do some catching up". I took this as a good sign that she was still interested in me. Therefore, I texted her again today to ask how she did on her exam today but then she just stopped answering. Now I'm starting to think too much and I'm not sure what to do. Do I keep persuing her and texting her or do I wait till she makes an effort ? Please help!

Lol a few things.. She probably knows you are interested so it's no fun for her, my advice would be not to text her, you don't want her to think you like her just don't text her, play hard to get if she messages you, don't answer straight away leave it 30 minutes before you reply... Act like you are not interested or try and spark up a convo and mid convo say something like, I will text you later just at the gym or meeting some friends say you will text her at a certain time then do not text her.. Now if she likes you she will text you because you forgot.. Play hard to get remember your time is valuable so don't give it out easily.. Good luck

Try talking to her in person, and if she still shuns you ask her whats up. If you really like a girl there's nothing wrong with telling her how you feel. It would make her think about you all the time and question a relationship. My current boyfriend told me he liked me first and I rejected him for six months then I realized I liked him too <3
