make up for work?

I have. Shoulder length straight chocolate brown hair,light brown eyes,pale skin (with cool undertones) and heart-shaped face, what make up can I use for work?

Usually I either go for liquid eyeliner mascara and lip balm

Foundation,powder,blush,mascara and matte red lipstick

Or light smokey eyes and nude lipstick

Are they professional enough?

What should I wear for work?

    Your makeup sounds lovely for your appearance already!! For work you want to look polished but you don't need to spend half an hour doing makeup because as you know, you don't have a lot of time usually to get ready. This is what I'd do if I was getting ready for work;

    A primer to prolong the makeup as you don't want to touch up all the time and want it to stay on for the whole day. There are loads on the market. I like the benefit porefessional but the maybelline baby skin or Loreal lumi primer work well as well

    A foundation mixed in with bb cream - I like the garnier bb creams

    Some concealer on any blemishes and under the eyes to make you look awake - I prefer liquid concealers on blemishes that have a doe foot application

    A dusting of powder to set the liquid makeup and prolong the makeup

    A choice of either bronzer or a peachy/ shimmery blush or both depending on the time you have. Bronzer is good to bring colour back into the face and make it look more shaped and blush makes you look youthful and healthy

    If you have good brows then you're good to go but if you're like me and have a pathetic excuse for eyebrows, then use a brow pencil or brow kit. Brows are quite important as they do frame the face. Do set them with some clear mascara so they stay

    I would wear simple eyeshadow and probably put a matte light brown all over the eyelid then a darker matt brown in the crease and slightly under the lash line. It will make you look as if you spent a lot of time on your makeup but it actually takes no time. You can use shimmery shades of the browns if they suit you more. I'd suggest purchasing the naked palette. It is quite expensive but it's so worth it and lasts ages and has every eyeshadow you would need

    I'd skip eyeliner because if takes a lot of time but if you're a pro at it then go for it if it won't take you too long

    Use your favourite mascara. Mascara is a must!! I really love the benefit they're real and the Loreal telescopic. Brilliant mascaras

    I'd then put on some lip balm and top it off with a darkish nude or a browny colour to compliment the eyes

    To look really professional then yeah sure go for the red but use a lip liner first x
