Is marijuana better than psychiatric drugs?
I hate the way benzos make me feel :(
my parents think marijuana is bad but the drugs my therapist give me are OK but i think a vaporizer or edibles is better than the hard drugs I take now!

In my opinion (and scientifically) yes. You can't get addicted to marijuana (mentally you can... But you can get mentally addicted to literally anything) but you can get physically addicted to benzos.
However, I would do some research about marijuana and mental illness. The reason I am saying this is because marijuana has been known to trigger things like schizophrenia in people who have a family history of severe mental illness. So that is always a possibility that you have to worry about.
Personally... I am 14 and smoke recreationally. My parents don't know about it, but I think they suspect it. I suffer from anxiety, depression, and ADD. My parents have always refused to put me on medication for any of those things, so I can't compare the difference between medication and marijuana. I have a hard time showing emotion and marijuana definitely helps with that.
I also maintain good grades, play varsity lacrosse, and take AP courses.
So research it, and make your own decision.
Source(s): Experience with mental illness and marijuana. I have discovered NOTHING bad about weed. You are still able to function while high (in my experiences) and I don't think it would be a bad idea for you to try it yourself. Just make sure you don't become one of those lazy stoners that gives marijuana a bad name. Deuces. - 0NE TRlCK P0NYLv 76 years ago
All the BENZOS I am familiar with are addictive, whereas marijuana is not.
