How do I get over her?

I have fallen in love with my best friend Erica. Everytime I think I'm over her she says or does something that pulls me right back in. Don't tell me to distance myself from her or cut her out of my life. That's simply impossible. We work together plus we are like family, were that close and actually need each other. The problem is she loves me like a brother and there is nothing I can do to change that, lord knows I've tried. She's just so amazing. She's smart, funny, kind, compassionate, understanding, patient, a gamer chick, and extremely beautiful inside and out. She's everything I've ever wanted. What can I do to move on, since I can't just abandon her.

Stay close, honestly it's rare to find a friend like that, help her and give advice geared towards her happiness, live your life and date, just don't push it, and someday it will just happen, shel just look at you one day and think wow, he's been right in front of me the whole time, she may already feel that way for you, but she may not be where you are at the moment, just timing, ride it out, be a true friend and if nothing else you'll always at least have that! She wouldn't keep your company if there wasn't some type of connection! Like I said don't pine over her or let her see you week, that's a turn off, shel respect you more when she sees how respectful you are to other women, and how you didn't push her and make things awkward!

Well don't give up until she has actually said she loves you only like a brother.  You didn't say she'd said that, so be 100 percent clear on it.  The only real antidote if she does only feel sisterly towards you, is to meet someone else.  The person you thought you never could find, who even eclipses Erica's charms, and she will be out there, trust me.  Like so many people who have been broken hearted, for all kinds of reasons, they found that perfect someone even after saying their heart was broken forever.  For some people, having decided that this is the status quo, they can go on seeing the person who is the object of their desire, and manage to move on, even whilst doing so.  For others they have to be brave and say, 'well, I just can't take this so I'm going to have to put distance between us'.  And only you know which way will give you the best chance of moving on.

Don't give up man if she really likes you. If you like her inside not only out you like the right person. Just hang in there! Love can be  a crappy game but it can also be the best time of life:)
