I think nascar is gonna loose a lot of fans by the new qualifying method! It is very dangerous for the drivers. I thought nascar was helping to make it safer for the drivers! I love to watch it but if I can't watch my driver or any other big name driver qualify I won't watch anymore! I look forward prior every race to watch qualifying it's interesting to see how each car is handling, and what the drivers are saying! But if they say it's very dangerous then nascar should listen and change it...

Yes it sort of looks bad after today but

passing spec is still a must and many drivers had to go through a second time

and with the new rules package they should of delayed qualifying until more cars cleared

    or have 2nd inspection lane

It doesn't take long but the line of 45 cars it can take forever

as for the Daytona 500 it should be old school one at a time

also once a car backs out under this system they must go and no stopping on pit lane

Well this issue has more to do with NASCAR's scheduling & tech inspection process than qualifying which itself went off fine.

Apparently NASCAR took an hour off of the time than they had normally which didn't help + it being the 1st race with the new rules package.

No one cares. The car is the athlete so why does that not get paid? The drivers should not be paid.
