A guitar ? Who is today's jimi Hendrix?

Jimi was a great guitarist, but there are many guitarist today that are just as good. Jimi's claim to fame was how he changed the way guitar is played. It will probably be a while before someone makes a huge step in that arena again. Jimi was great, but performers from that era tend to be put on a platform, and when they die young like him it only increase that God-like status. But again, plenty guys out there that play as well as he did.

There will never be another Jimi Hendrix. He wasn't just a guitarist, as a producer, arranger, performer, lyricist and musician he was one of the true geniuses of popular music.

If you just mean an amazing guitarist then I'd say people in metal bands such as Zack Hansen, Kellen McGregor or Lee Malia
