I think its a very good defensive stance. Its similar to Jeet Kune Do and its meant for defense. Its drawback is it would take a person in that stance more time to throw the right straight which has proven to be Marquez's best weapon against Pacquiao. Its OK for Mayweather in the past because of his speed and timing. But if he has really slow down, then Pacquiao can capitalize on that.

Not nearly as effective as it would be on an orthodox fighter. Mayweather should fight Pacquiao like he did Judah/Ortiz. Walk him down. It's better to put pressure on an opposite stanced fighter. He needs to push Manny back.

Pacquiao is a different kind of fighter. He can hit you 4-5 times from three different angles. A shoulder roll can only do so much.

IMO, Mayweather's defense works on all, but Manny's offense will score points and out wit Mayweather's defense. Close decision either way prompts ad quick rematch signing for a September rematch for more $$$$$$$$$$$$$.
