How much remodeling cost is a tenant responsible for after moving out of an apartment?

    All changes the tenant made must be restored to original condition or landlord can charge tenant if the remodel was not agreed to in writing.

    Generally any damage not considered Normal Wear and Tear, some state renter laws spell out the number of years you mist reside to not be responsible for painting or carpet replacement.

    Look up renter law for your state.
