okay im gonna try to make this short and sweet. my boyfriend for some reason cant get over his past, and still has feelings for his middle school sweetheart we're both 23.. we've gotten into fights over here and shes the reason i cant trust him. i love him so much so i dont wanna leave him but im not sure how to tell him how it bothers me

Well, if he can't get over her then he will never be able to fully love you. That's unfair towards you, and he shouldn't be in a relationship if he still likes someone else.
In this case you either need to let it go and hope he will get over her, or you need to leave her. Getting into fights with him won't help at all.

The problem is: he talks too much about his past, or is he spending too much time with them, and none for you?
You've got insecurity & trust issues (pretty normal stuff - we all do, but we grow up and learn to trust the guy we're with. But, I need to speak with him, and see where he wants this relationship to go.

If he is still emotionally invested in someone he knew years ago, why do you bother? I wouldn't.
