Curtain and drapes in the house?

Ill be transferring to a new house, id like to put some drapes, its a two storey house with 3 rooms, a joimt living and dining room. At the second floor are the two rooms (master and kids room) at the ground floor is one room (guestroom) and the wall of the dining room. Im thinking of putting a different color in each of the room (so 3 colors in 3 different rooms) and another color in the dining room so that would be 4? Is it ok to have 4 different colors in a house, or i keep it unitary 1 color for the whole house, or 2 colors 1 color for the ground floor (guest and dining room) and 2nd floor (masters and kids room), any suggestions?

It is ok to have 4 different colors as long as they flow together. For example, you might chose different shades of neutrals, or all cool colors. I would not have one room with red, one blue, one pink, and one yellow.
