According to the timeline of the show (particularly Walt's 51st & 52nd birthdays) it's anywhere from six to nine months. Vince Gilligan said the length of time was six months, and Peter Gould said it was 4.5 - 5 months.
It was a very, very long time.

There isn't a specific time frame but he grew a full beard and it was long enough to put blue meth back on the market so I would say three months would be a resonable guess? Skyler looked settled into a new house and walt grew his hair back so it was probably about that long.
