No great civilization lasts forever...what is the shelf life for the United States?

I am thinking about 100 more years.

    ya, thats about my guess too...after we try desperately to change it, only for it to get worse. but you never know, we may be surprised.

    Yeah I guess anything is possible....just seems like too large of an area with too many differing opinions to keep the whole thing together over the long-term. Poor management will be the downfall of any venture, and our management in this country is atrocious. I think we'll have 6-8 nations where the Unites States currently is by about 2115.

    Civilizations fail for many reasons, like they become to big to manage (like Rome). Here in the US we have increased our population, not our territory, and amassed wealth and knowledge. Unless more evil people blow up basically the entire world, the US will never go down. We are strong and proud. Have a nice day kiddies.
