Yeah, the prepared rice is good with certain foods. It doesn't mean raw seafood as so many people mistakenly think, just so you know. The correct term for uncooked food is sashimi. Sushi just means vinegar prepped rice with something, and that something can be anything, raw or cooked.

Yes!!!!!! i went to a hyper japan festival and got some amazing sushi that looked the same as normal but tasted soooo goood!

sushi is my fave thing ever. If it didnt exist i would be besides myself. Its my favorite food in the entire universe. Especially with wasabi, fish sauce and ginger. I made sushi from scratch once. One type had rice and salmon wrapped with seaweed. The other type had rice, seaweed, avocado, spring onion and cucumber. Oh heaven!!!!!

I don't like the sound of it but then I haven't tried it so I can't really say.

Plus I'm not that keen on sea food besides fish like cod and haddock so I probably won't try it, yet.

Love it! And I'm talking the whole deal: octopus, urchin, squid...yummy! Eel is meh and you can't pay me enough to like the egg, but everything else is awesome :)
