Would a defense lawyer or attorney be able to help me reinstate my DL for driving on a Suspended License for Unpaid traffic tickets?
I have multiple tickets that I can't afford and even if I did the minimum payment of $50 dollars a month that's still to much because I have 5 total tickets so that would be a total of $250 a month they all equal to about $3,600 in total. Is it possible to start a $50 first time payment on each ticket to reinstate my DL and then do the rest in Community Service? I have tickets Riverside County 2, Orange County 1 and 2 in Los Angeles County. I need to get my license reinstated in order to retrieve the car from Impound is there anything that would help? I'm a college student so I don't make enough to help cover most, Comments "I DON"T ALREADY KNOW" would be helpful? Remarks like "pay it" or "deal with it" isn't really the purpose of yahoo answers so useful answers would help even a defense attorney who's willing to compromise? Remember these are unpaid traffic tickets not a DUI or a hit and run.

You do not get to choose what your punishment will be. You cannot just ask that you not have to pay your fine and do community service or something else in exchange. The court is not a playground for fun and exchanges among friends. You have been fined and you have to pay those fines. And, if you do not pay them when due, the court has two options and it will exercise one of the two immediately 1) send you to collections or 2) issue a bench warrant, arrest you and throw you in jail for a while. If they choose no. 1 and they don't get their money, then they go to no. 2. You will get the suspension lifted when the money has been paid back in full. You may have to go to court and request that they reinstate it - after you have repaid your debt. There is no point asking beforehand. 5 tickets - it sounds like you could use some additional drivers training/practice or just a good kick in the behind if they are all for speeding. Gotta wait for that. Take the bus. Driving while suspended will surely cause you to end up in jail.

The court will not reinstate your DL until all of the traffic tickets are paid. This is most time statutory law as well.
Driving is a privilege not a god- given right.
You need to get a PD to deal with this issue. You can ask the court and see if you financially qualify for a PD. Try the legal aid society.
Sometimes per court order, you can make payments on the installment plan, but you can not do community service in lieu of the fines or court costs. They are in written statutory law to be paid.

The reason there are fines and suspensions is to keep dangerous drivers like yourself from driving. So your question is, can a lawyer get my license back because I don't have money for a lawyer or the multiple fines I've racked up???

Maybe, depends on what argument you can make about needing to be able to drive.
