Missed period by a day and birth control?

Okay, I've been taking brith control for about 4 months which is called Lyza. My boyfriend still pulls out , which I know it's %100 effective either. I got my period last month on the 7th. And yesterday would be my first day, I missed my period. Today is the second day. Should I take a preg test to ease my mind? I am worried a bit

Okay here's the thing you need to remember- you don't have a period anymore. It's gone.

The bleeding you have while on birth control, during the placebo or break week, is just a withdrawal symptom of stopping the active hormones for that week.

That bleeding is not always going to be regular. It doesn't have to be. Being a day late (even on an actual period with no birth control involved) doesn't mean anything at all. One day is nothing. Your body is not a machine or a clock.

Sometimes you will skip bleeding AT ALL while on the pill. This doesn't matter. It doesn't mean that you're pregnant, it means nothing. Withdrawal bleeding while on birth control is not important.

Take a test if it's the only way you'll feel better, but you are over 98% safe from pregnancy now that you're on birth control.
