7 deadly sins art project??

Im doing an art project (A2 level) on flaws and ive decided to look into human flaws and how francis bacon distorts peoples faces because of his relatiobship with them. My teacher suggested distorting peoples faces on photoshop with the idea of the 7 deadly sins, but id like to be a bit more original. I was think of people who lie and cheat etc, but im a bit stuck. Can anyone give me any ideas i could use about how people are flawed?? Thank u! :)

List the 7 Deadly Sins and think of modern representations or things that are metaphors for these sins. For example what sin could a compulsive gambler represent? You could use the CEO's of large corporations representing avarice. You may find that Envy is the most difficult because it is more easily disguised as something else. What about Identity Theft? Can you think of a sin that would represent?

A few years ago the Toronto Daily Star had a series of articles that was about the 7 Deadly Sins in modern times. From what I can recollect one article talked about cities such as Las Vegas.

I don't really know anything about art, but I do know about how some people do awful things, this is what I could think of:

    - discriminate

    - judge when they don't even know the person

    - put themselves above others

    - ignore the problems in the world

there areprobably alot more but yeah I hope I helped a bit :)

If you are so intent on being "original" that you reject your teacher's suggestion why would you throw away that integrity by heeding my advice?
