Perhaps call your telephone company and speak with a knowledgeable customer care agent. You would want to write down what the caller's phone number is if you have caller ID. Have your account number ready. Perhaps the representative can actually block calls from that number.

Get an air horn, put in earplugs, then blast the air horn into the phone
Or mess with them. Say something like: I am required by law to inform you that all calls to this number are being traced and recorded by law enforcement as part of an ongoing criminal investigation. If you do not consent to having this call recorded and traced, you are to immediately hang up
That usually scares them off

Next time they call. Politely ask them to hang on for just a second. Then Put the phone down and go watch TV for 30 min. When You come back to the phone if they are still their ask them again to hold on for just a second. Again put the phone down and go watch TV. Soon they will be tried of being "On Hold" and never call back

Answer the phone, tell them you're halfway through assembling a cabinet, then leave them on hold for an hour. Then go up to the phone, tell them that you're almost done, and leave them for another hour or two. Come back, say you'll be right with them when you've finished walking the dog, and leave them for half an hour. Finally, tell them that you're not interested in your scam, you had no intention of buying their junk, and you're going to pass on their number to the police

I work at a telesales company, setting up an appointments for people to get solar panels, All you have to say is "Please put me on the 'Do not call list', Thanks."
That's it, They just click a call disposition at the end of the call and that company won't contact you again. There may be other companies with your number who may still call, but just say the same thing.
Please don't be rude to the caller, It's their job. They don't control where their company buys the call data from.

This all started because you tried to get something for free and gave out your phone number. Don't do that again, OK?

Mess with them if you have the time, ask for more info, or their return phone number, etc. they don't give up easily, and are hard to catch, (right now).
