There are several reasons why some hard boiled eggs are easy to peel but some are not. Some say to use fresh eggs and some say use older eggs. Some say to use salt in the boiling water and some say crack the boiled eggs from the broad side. Some say, as soon as you boiled the eggs drain off the hot water, and add icy cold water to cool the eggs. But some say, after you drop the hard boiled eggs in icy cold water, drain off the iced water and put it in the refrigerator overnight so that the egg can detach from the shell and also enough time for the outer membrane on the hard boiled eggs, to form and also to detach from the eggs before you peel it. The problem from peeling hard boiled eggs to a smooth, undented or undinged egg is caused by the membrane still attached to the egg and the egg shell. By cracking the egg shell into several smaller pieces, will be easier to peel.

the fresher the egg, the harder to peel.
It has NOTHING to do with variety of egg, salt or not in the water, etc.
You can try any trick you have ever heard of, the bottom line is old eggs peel great, really fresh ones do NOT.
