    at 62 you can get your SS

    they used to send a notice once a year stating what you would receive at certain ages

    they gave me 3 in the last one

    62 65 and full benefits at 67 and 10 months

    Age 62 (actually the first full month they are age 62). Age 60 for widows or widower's benefits.

    At age 62 you can start collecting...remember though, that you won't get your full benefit unless you work until you're 65.
