Why do most women only date extremely rich or extremely attractive men?

Extremely attractive women primarily date extremely rich or extremely attractive men, and if you're focusing on what these attractive women do (who in all likelihood are the ones you wish were less shallow and would take notice of you) then you're focusing on a small sample size and applying their behavior to all women. Even from the most cynical viewpoint of female behavior one can deduce that these standards simply cannot be upheld by average and unattractive women as they do not have enough to offer in the way of looks to get away with being that picky. There is no equivalent exchange.

Most women do not end up with extremely rich or extremely attractive men on the basis that very few extremely rich or extremely attractive men exist, and that those men are also picky. If most women held out for these man then most women would die childless and single, and that is just not the case.

Your question's pretty biased, but any girl that says that all men are pigs is every bit as biased if she attributes the behavior of a few bad apples to the entire male population.

That's a rather positive attitude. And implies that you have made an assumption about the entire female gender as a whole. Women generally gravitate to attractive men as they give the best opportunity for attractive offspring, I mean on the most basic of levels. They are attracted to rich men as that implies they will be able to provide for them. But that does not mean the majority of the female population will go after or end up with them. For some women money or looks can be a turn off, but I would say the majority are indifferent. And it's not just these two factors that are taken in to account when thinking of pursuing a perspective partner. And it is not right to think that based on the few you may have spoken to or seen, that caused you to come to this assumption, not every girl is the same. And neither is every man.

I have no desire to marry an extremely wealthy, attractive man. My boyfriend is insanely attractive, I'll give him that, but beauty is in the eye of the beholder!

I've never been a gold digger or had a huge desire to live in a mansion up on a hill. A 2-3 bedroom house with my sweetheart and a few animals is fine with me!

So women want to date extremely attractive men? I don't blame them. I want to date extremely attractive women. People are attracted to people who are attracted. Don't hold it against women that they like attractive men better. But...

if they say men are pigs for wanting to date attractive girls more than unattractive girls, if they say that men should be totally blind to a woman's appearance, if they say men should never judge women by their appearance whilst they go on judging men by their appearance, you can hold that against them. That is hypocrisy.

And if they only want to date rich men, they'd better not also call themselves feminists because feminism says women can have a successful, highly paid career, therefor they can become rich themselves and not need to marry a rich man. It's OK if they end up with a rich guy by chance, but if they only date rich men and they also call themselves feminists than that's also hypocrisy. Feminism says women can be overworked just like us men.

Often they come from a family where they either had an absent father or an abusive father, so this is seen as "normal" to them as that's the only type of adult relationship they were exposed to as a child. People tend to go for what is familiar, not what is best for them. If her mother was treated like garbage, then she grew up thinking it was normal for a man to treat a woman like that. If there was addiction in her family, that is also seen as "normal" to her Or she was sexually abused, which is a real possibility if she worked as a model as too many young models are coerced or given drugs/alcohol to get them to perform sex acts on older agents, photographers, etc and has no self esteem and doesn't think she deserves any better This hits really close to home as one of my best friends constantly dates men who are addicts (the current one is addicted to pain killers, the last one had been in rehab for cocaine 3 times and still uses, the one before that was an alcoholic) and are emotionally abusive to her. But if you look at her family, her father was an alcoholic who used to beat her mother, then her mother left and moved herself and the kids in with some guy who was a drug dealer who went to prison. My friend was also sexually abused by one of her mother's boyfriends when she was 15. No matter how much we try to talk to her about it and try to get her to change her patterns, she keeps ending up with the same type of guys. She is gorgeous and has a Masters and a great job but constantly is with complete losers and addicts who can't keep a job and treat her like crap. But those are the only relationships she knows and if a nice guy talks to her, she doesn't know how to respond and blows him off, probably subconsciously thinking she does not deserve a nice guy

Extremely rich or extremely attractive men are only a small percentage of the population. There goes your "theory".
