Can I boot up a computer in a Best Buy before paying money for it?

Many computers these days are broken in the box. And customer service after that is a joke. Will Best Buy let me turn on a computer before I pay for it?

    You have to talk to the geek squad about that but they might make you pay for it first before hooking it up to make sure it works

    They should. It doesn't hurt to ask. It doesn't hurt anything if you are going to buy the computer anyway.

    Well, they should allow it if they want your money. I can't see what reason they would have to deny you the request.
