Can I substitute unsweetened chocolate for cocoa powder for making chocolate pudding? If I can would it be the same amount or less?

Yes you CAN use baker's chocolate instead of cocoa powder. You do have to adjust the amount of fat in the recipe. Google 'cocoa powder substitutes'.

You can't swap a chocolate bar, which is hard & solid until melted, for a powdered item.

You can use cocoa powder, which is what most home made chocolate puddings call for.

Or, buy a box of Jell-O Instant Chocolate Pudding.
