The girl I like is my best friend and she likes this guy and the guy likes her, I really like her and she texted me yesterday telling me why I was ignoring her and I spilled her the truth but I don't think she was able to figure out that I liked her.. she never responded to the text but she did read it and ignored it. I really do like her and the dude plans on buying her  a starbucks drink tomorrow and I know everything about her but I don't want to text her and seem like I'm desprate if I "resend" the message I sent to her earlier today explaining my feelings on why I ignored her and stuff. I've been really depressed lately so I let her know that but I'm really sad, I don't know what to do. I'm 16.

Just because she likes this guy, it doesn't mean you have to stop being friends. The best thing to do is show her that you're happy and hanging out with other people too. This is more attractive to a girl than being sad and depressed.

if you really consider this girl your "best friend" come out with the truth about how you feel about her because as a best friend there will be times she will expect you to hang out with her and her man and it will be super awkward for you and may end the friendship if you push these feelings aside. Also, if her feelings are not mutual towards you, remember that as a best friend it is your duty to support her in whomever she chooses to date even if it is not you, so long as they are a decent person

She's your freind if she wants to be happy with the guy you should let her. You can find someone as good as her. But this guys really important to her
