Is this a good way to go about it?

My girlfriend & I are in a long distance relationship. We haven't met each other before. But, we plan on it one day very much. I'm hoping to be there where she is in December while she's on winter vacation from college. She's nervous about taking showers with me, but she wants to do it. I don't want her to be too nervous, though. I'd love to calm her down. So, a way that I told her how we can handle her nervousness is this:

She goes in the bathroom, strips, & gets in the shower. When she's ready for me to come in, I'll do so. I'll strip as well. While the shower curtains are between her & I, I would tell her to make sure her back is to me. That way when I get in with her, I can hold her in my arms until she's ready to turn around to face me. I'd even kiss her a few times so she can relax. Good idea?
