I just got a bank account and a visa card with it and i don't understand why there are different balances on each?
For example on internet banking it says the number of my bank account and the number of my visa, and their respective balances. So if I put money on my bank account does that automatically transfer to the visa? Say that its listed Bank account - 20 dollars, visa -40 dollars? Thank you in advance, I feel super uneducated about this..

You can pay extra but Im not sure it will show a negative balance on your credit report.
Different balances mean the amounts you owed at whatever date the report was taken.

sound like you have NEGATIVE BALANCE on the visa which is *NOt a credit cad but a debit card[which takes money from the account] i highly suggest you go back to ban toi find
