Some people require their partner to be attractive or wealthy and place those at a higher value than personality, or vice versa, or a balance. Personally, I don't care about looks, but they do play a small part. The qualities that are highly valued include kindness and being caring (going the extra mile that others normally wouldn't); honesty; loyalty; basic intelligence; mystery; adventure; ambition; politeness; and individuality.
