Why not ask Pacquiao fans to buy PPV from HBO and Floyd fans from Showtime to see who has more fans.?

Most of Pacquiao fans are Filipinos who either do not have the means to avail of PPV or would have better use of their hard earned pesos for their family needs. Certainly, a Pacquiao fight is treated like fiesta in the Philippines. But also we know very well what comes next after a fiesta-we are left with virtually nothing but good feeling and the grim reality later of cash shortages and even debts.

Almost 100million people live in the Philippines every single one of them is a MP fan Floyd wishes he had half of his fans and i never added how much fans he has around the world. If that happened showtime would go broke

Because people will just buy the PPV from the channel that they think provide better fight night coverage, you have to give people incentive if you want them to comply with your wishes.

They'd have nothing to gain by sticking to that request, if I am a Mayweather Jr fan but prefer Jim Lampley and co. then I'm going to ignore what you want me to do and do what best suits me.

After all it's my money not yours

That way we can more or less gauge the popularity of each one.

No it doesn't work like that and never will.
