As much as I agree that he is wrong for breaking up with you before he came to see you & kept the money, it will make you seem the like bigger person if you just forget about it.

You won't get that money back. Never loan anyone money not even if you have them sign paperwork saying they owe. To many people screw them out of their money.

Honestly I'm in the same situation. If you want the money, go get it. If you don't feel like dealing with him, don't do it.

No. If he declines to pay you back take him to the small claims court.

write the money off as a lesson learned because you will never see it again and be happy you will never see him
