Is Jimi Hendrix pure genius....I must say; YES!!!!?

He wasn't a genius actually. He just pushed guitar-driven Rock music to the next level. And I must admit his soloing while simple, is very beautiful and similar to an orgasm. His roots are in the blues so it's quite simplistic compared to Pat Methany and Wes Montgomery, excluding all the Classical guitarists of course.

Yes he was and always will be. It's a shame, we don't have more people making awesome music like Jimi. I personally enjoyed his acoustic work just as much as his electric work.

Yep. There is three or four decades worth of tired, 'White Blues' in his performance of Red House at Woodstock on a guitar with five strings.
