There was a while I didn't like Carol, for various reasons, but I'm starting to like her a little again. Also, as to Rick, if you look at it from the angle of he was just falling for someone who was already married, then I'd say no, I don't like him. But, that isn't the case(it was, but it was a little more than that), and that wasn't the sole reason he attacked her husband.
TL;DR yes, I like them.
