Muscles twitch when there is a lack of electrolytes in the body. You just need to drink some electrolyte drink like Gatorade or Powerade. Or you can make your own DIY electrolyte drink. One recipe I use is:
-1/4 cup of freshly squeezed lime juice
-1/4 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
-1 ½ to 2 cups fresh water, depending on how strong you want the flavor
-1/8 teaspoon of sea salt
-2 tablespoons natural sugar or honey, to taste
:)

Maybe, maybe not. But regardless why it's happening, it's temporary. So don't stress it.
