If humans were to subsist entirely on hunting and gathering grounds, how much territory would they need?
ok, assuming we genocided off competing predators in our territory and assuming there was 130,000 people to be provided for, and assuming there was a rich variety of wildlife as well as plantlife, how much territory would be needed?

Guy asks about hunting and gathering, and gets an answer about farming...
The answer is, it depends entirely on the environment. For peoples living in extremely arid deserts and such, a whole lot more than a game-and-plant rich jungle or forested area.
Desert people tend to be nomadic...Travelling from area to area in search of water and food.
Peoples like Amazonian natives tend to rapidly build villages...They are easily supported by the surrounding jungle.

for paddy you can get about 4tons from 1 hectare / 4 month,
about 400 gram/day / person required, so 1 hectare can feed 83 person
about 1600 ha for 130k people.

It depends on the resources available in that territory. and it depends on your definition of "subsist". Do you mean enough to eat and not die of starvation? enough to be happy and healthy? enough to thrive? enough to divide labour, and keep surpluses?
