Cannot receive Yahoo email on iPhone 6 with iOS8.2. Can send but not receive.?

I am having a similar problem on my iPhone using Live Mail - I can receive emails but as of Saturday afternoon (April 4, 2015) I am not able to send emails from that account. Using Yahoo Mail and the exact same account on a second iPhone works just fine as does the same account on home computer and iPad.

Can anyone tell me how to contact Yahoo support to try and report this issues.

Me too. Can send but not receive from Mac mail on Mac, also Cloud Magic, Outlook, and iOS mail on iPhone 4s and iPad Air. Yahoo app works fine so it is something at the application protocol level, not the device communications level. All the other apps fail approximately the same way, (no mail in inbox, occasional message about server problems) so I think this is clearly a Yahoo, not an apple, problem. The same thing happened to me last January, then magically went away after a couple of weeks. I just tried to submit an excruciatingly detailed question with all the symptoms and analysis, but the forum would not accept the question!!! Fix this, Yahoo!

I m having the same problem, but with iPhone 4S and iPad mini. It started on 3/27 in iPad and 3/28 on iPhone. I ve tried all of the suggestions above for the past week, to no avail. I made a Genius appt at the Apple store, and the tech reset various settings and tried without any luck. Oddly, he set my mail up on a service iPhone, and the mail worked on that device. He couldn t explain why? After I insisted that it was probably a Yahoo problem, he went to the back and came back to say that Yahoo is aware of the problem, but he could not give any estimated time for the fix. This is very frustrating. I too am using the Yahoo mail app, which I do not like. I thought that with the iOs 8.3 update it would work, but no luck.

I am having this problem too. I get can send and receive from an IPad running 8.2 and can send from an Iphone 6 running 8.2, but nothing is received on the phone. It shows last updated Saturday April 4, 2015. I deleted and added the account again and no read emails appear.

Dear Yahoo. We need a solution. For 24 hours, my iphone 5 will send emails but not receive. All other devises including an ipad are working fine. I have deleted my account 4 times and reinstalled with no success on my phone. I've tried setting it up as an other account on my phone. No success. I have reset all my settings. No success. I have spoken to Apple for over an hour. No success. My other email account is working fine on my phone. It is clearly a problem with Yahoo.

I don't need to troubleshoot more. I need Yahoo to fix whatever has changed to make it unstable.

I am having similar problem with iOS 8.2 on ipad. My iPhone 6 running ios8.1.2 can send and receive yahoo emails.

I manually setup a yahoo email account but I can only receive email. Sending email has an error of "rerouting " - have no idea what that is.

I personally think that it is iOS 8.2's problem

I have been on the phone Apple for over 2 hours, and they are telling me it is a Yahoo issue. They had me delete my email account from my apple device, however that made it worse. Now I can't add my email account back onto my device's. And oh yeah it is on my iPad and IPhone 6 plus. Obviously it is both an Apple and Yahoo issue. Apple can't get their crap together. I didn't have the problem until I updated my iOS software.

I have the same problem on my iPhone 6.. I don't receive mail and I cannot send mail.. this ******* yahoo accounts always having problems .. and I don't know where to contact this yahoo official ..I search for the phone number but nothing .. I don't know where else to look or how get in touch with dam yahoo people

I have the same problem iPhone 5. It started this morning 4/1/15. I can send but can not receive email from yahoo account, the account works fine with a browser and my laptop.
