i have became friends with a 17 yr old and we are great friends and well some of my friends are starting to spread rumors about us and how can i stop this

Find the people that spreaded the rumors. Talk to them one on one or maybe bring a friend. Tell them how you feel about them spreading rumors and to not assume things. Tell them to tell others that you and your friend are only great friends nothing more nothing less.

Just agree to the rumors as a joke and don't let it get to you. Talk with her and say rumors are going around and we should try to keep up lol
