Bump on top of rotten tooth?
I recently got a bump on top of my rotten tooth. I have good hygiene and brush 3 times a day and floss after. My tooth started to rot a couple years ago and then chipped peices started falling out. Now, I have a bump on top of that tooth but it doesn't hurt and is the same color as my gums. Should I go to the dentist or take regular medicine? Is there home remedy I could while I wait for an appointment?
Sounds gross and im sorry, im just really worried it could get worse.

Nothing about your health is gross. Why would you leave a bad tooth for such a long time?? As the bump does not hurt, get an appointment as soon as you can. If you are very fortunate perhaps this tooth can still be saved with a crown put on it. Never under estimate having your own teeth. Please, do everything possible to keep them, and never ever just leave it be.
