Can you install a chrome bumper on a 1968 Mustang if the original unibody is replaced with a new Dynacorn unibody?Does the VIN change?

    Yes you can put a metal bumper on the vehicle, along with many other modifications. The VIN doesn't change as long as it is the same car. If it is no longer the same car, you are building one from scratch, you don't have a valid VIN, and you will have a hard time registering and insuring it. If you think you need to change the VIN, or create one, you should ask your question to the government body that regulates motor vehicles in your area, such as the local DMV.
