First story appearing on Yahoo news starts with a lie?

It states that Walmart will not sell Ronda Rousey's book because it is too violent, but you can buy any combination of high caliber of high powered rifle. This is completely untrue, due to pressure by anti-gun rights activists, many Walmarts do not sell real guns anymore. What do you think?

According to Walmart, Back in 2006, Walmart stopped selling guns at a third of its stores, citing a lack of demand and “diminished customer relevancy.” This coincided with a move from rural areas to urban areas.

Nothing to do with anti-gun activists at all. Most urban areas do have gun control laws, and practically speaking there aren't many bears on Main Street. Since then they have changed their mix several times, bringing in guns in some places and exercise equipment in others.

It was an internal decision, and affected only some stores, two thirds still and have always sold guns and ammo.

In this case then entire chain has refused to sell the book in its stores, because they don't like the violence.

That is their decision. They have got it online though.

Do I understand the logic behind it? I have a feeling if one kid tries one of her moves on another kid and the kid ends up hurt there'd be a lawsuit against Walmart as a provider.

Not sure it really qualifies as, "lying' since the writer stings together two entirely unrelated independent clauses both of which state facts that cannot be denied, but it seens disingenous at the very least to word the headline in this manner when the second clause has no real bearing on the first except to blatantly identify the piece as advocacy journalism at its most insidious.

Step back non believer. Walmart still sells rifles. And is getting ready to offer

multi round firing weapons. The Bushmaster 223 etc. But as of yet. I have seen

nothing to support the claim that they won't sell the bimbos book.

How can the statement be "completely" untrue, considering some Walmarts still sell guns, as your own question acknowledges by saying "many," but not all, do not?

MANY, but not ALL. I just bought a new deer rifle at Wal-Mart here in Eastland, TX . !
