All phones get heated to a degree depending on what is being done on it at the time, some more than others. Some reports have shown the One M9 getting very heated.
Too soon to tell about it being bogged down after a while but knowing Android/Touch Wiz I'd expect it
All phones battery life would degrade after a while. Just the nature of batteries.
As far as the iPhone in the same respects
heat - same applies, but again not as bad as others
bogging down - not an issue
battery - stated above
