Car makes a water noise when accelerating.?
First off. I hit a raccoon and it smashed in my radiator. I didn't notice until my car was nearly at H (for over heating. ) it didn't get to the red tho I pulled over. I had it replaced. Now my temp never even gets to half way no matter how long I drive. It also makes a werd noise when I accelerate. Sounds kinda like water. Idk how to describe it. What could be the problem and how likely is it. I ruined my engine or head. I didn't get the red Zone but it got pretty hot. The shop that replaced the radiator was horrible.

While you may need head work, that water sound is from your heater core. There is air in your cooling system, and when you accelerate, the water pump pushes more coolant through the system, and mixed with some air, when it gets through your heater core, makes quite a noise. Get the air bled out of the cooling system, and the 'water' noise will go away.

You should have looked for reviews of mechanics before you took it in. You can do that now with sites like Angie's List and Mechanics Files. What you describe is a sure sign of a warped head. They missed it. It happened after you hit the 'coon and it got too hot. Now you are in for a head job and that ain't cheap.

Go to a decent mechanic. Sounds like the coolant needs to be topped up and bled properly.
