I think it speaks a lot about calipari and how great of a recruiter he is, it also takes a great coach to get players like that to be unselfish, I'm a nc state fan and a few years ago when we had Leslie, brown, wood, purvis, etc,we were preseason final four pic but just couldn't ever get chemistry. Cal truly is a great coach one of the best in the business, and I don't think they'll be as good next year unless they can bring in both Malik Newman and Brandon Ingram or similar package deal because their class is number one but they don't have a lot of returning talent so it will take 2-3 McDonald's kids

I think they are going to still be good because of the players that are coming back and the recruiting class they are bringing in. They have the number 1 class right now and they will most likely finish on top that way as well. 7 of the top 30 guys are undeclared and have Kentucky in there list, I wouldnt be suprised if 4 of them committed to Kentucky in the next week.

  • It's a sign of the times. So many freshmen and sophomores declare. Kentucky was in a situation where Cauley-Stein and the Harrison twins could have all declared last year, but since they stayed, this year's number of players declaring is high.

It doesn't reflect too well on the coaching staff not completing the undefeated season -- this team is truly a Class AAA for the NBA with the one-and-done format.

It is Kentucky, all they want is one and done kids. Not surprising.
