I'm going to say something that will probably surprise you. Democrats don't agree with you about Hillary. You cannot ask why we do something assuming we think the same thing you do. You will never understand.

The race hasn't started yet, there will be others vying for the nomination.

The Democrats have no one else. How can this be, you ask? No one knows, and certainly Democrats don't.

Dems ARE between a rock and a Hard Case. They ARE aware of her negative ratings with cons and independents, but right now she is their only player in the field!

Because she's leading all current potential GOP nominees by at least 10 points in the polls. That might be more a testament to how atrocious the GOP field is though, rather than a reflection on Hillary herself.

To be fair, that's just one poll. Another I found is closer, with some coming in as close to 4 points to Hillary, though she still leads the entire GOP field.
