how long do I have to wait to pick a best answer, one of my questions was posted a year ago, and I still can't chose one.?

If a question is older than 1 HOUR, and it has answers, there should be buttons by the answers to choose a Best Answer.

If there isn't, it is possible that you already CHOSE a Best Answer previously - but that answer was reported and removed as a violation. In the past, if that happened, both the answer AND the question were removed. Now, the question stays - but it may not reactivate the ability to choose another BA.

Another possibility is that the answers you got are from people that have blocked you. In one of the recent updates, if a person who has blocked you answers your question, you won't be able to select them as Best Answer.

The wait is at least an hour after posting, If you still can't pick one then that is a glitch.

20 minutes...... maybe none of the answers were good? we shouldn't have to pick BEST answers if the answers suck
