Now it is autumn is it appropriate to keep going around barefoot and shirtless while I have to use crutches to walk?

I am more comfortable on them like that

    As long as you aren't entering a "no shoes / no shirt / no service" or food-serving establishment. Many places won't allow you to be barefoot on public streets if you are trying to enter places of business.
